Clay is dual qualified in Hong Kong and China (Greater Bay Area) to practise law. He is a member affiliated to Shenzhen (Qianhai), China (under the Chinese law regime) and has been regularly practising law and rendering legal advices in the field in commercial law in the Greater Bay Area.
Clay is a seasoned practitioner with a strong practice in civil actions, cross boarders commercial dispute litigations and Hong Kong pre-IPO legal advisory. His major practice areas cover construction law, company and commercial law, interlocutory injunctions, land and conveyance matters and commercial crimes. Over the years, Clay has assisted many clients which have been listed companies and cross boarder enterprises. Clay is reputed and trusted by major companies and enterprises within the region.
Before being called to the Hong Kong Bar, Clay has over 14 years of engineering consultancy experiences on Highways engineering, infrastructure development and environmental evaluation works. He also contributes to the education industry in the capacity as a part-time lecturer in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, focus on transport planning and engineering training
